1970 CITROEN DYANE 6 – EARLY MODEL, LOTS SPENT RECENTLY, NEEDS MORE TLC NOW
FRESH in today is this 1970 (A rare early example? I am no expert on them) Citroen Dyane 6. Her last MoT expired in June 2018 and there are eight test certificates in the history file ranging from 2012 until then. It would appear that she was much admired having been restored circa 2012 but now she needs work again. There are also receipts for work done between then and now totalling around 5k. Some of that work – and not all of it – included repairs to rear body (£600), recon. gearbox (£800), clutch kit, shockers, new roof, etc etc. I am no expert, far from it, regarding this marque. It looks to me as if it needs metal work to the rear offside area floor/wheel arch while the outer sills look a tad ropey. The main floor pan is maybe double skinned as it looks decent from underneath but some of the inner floor needs repairing around the central area of the footwell. This is just what I see and thus this Dyane is a project. She is probably worth the time and effort and I am told that she drives fine. Needs a battery.
