This is an advertisement for a 1970 Jaguar E-Type series 4.2 roadster that is being sold on behalf of a family estate. The car has undergone a detailed and fully photographed restoration since the current owner purchased it in 2011 with only 50,000 miles. The car was built on April 22, 1970, and dispatched to Henlys in London on May 13 of the same year. The car was then sold to Gillian Tilbury of Sidcup on January 4, 1971, with registration number AGE131J, who retained the car until July 1974. The car changed hands three more times during the 1970s, and the registration number was changed to its current AKB843J at some point.

The engine and body frame numbers match the heritage certificate, and the restorers have advised that the gearbox number also matches, although this has not been verified due to not having access to the gearbox number. The car comes with two binders of photographs showing the restoration work, invoices, history documents, and old MOT certificates. The car has had a fully major and detailed restoration, including all the mechanical components and interior trim. The white paintwork has been refinished to a high standard, and the car has fully restored chrome and a new black hood.
