Full V5C
A unique opportunity to buy a 1 of only 2 Jaguar SS100 style car, manufactured in the 1980’s using a donor 1970 Jaguar XJ-6. A full description of this amazing vehicle is as follows:
Chassis
A unique design by an engineering company that specialised in building one-off space frame chassis. The chassis is a mixture of space frame and ladder. There are two longitudinal members each side of the chassis and three bulkheads to provide the desired torsional rigidity.
Engine
The engine is a 4.2 litre XJ-6 Series 1 that was rebuilt by a Jaguar engine specialist in Coventry. They also built the SU carburettors from SU parts to have manual chokes rather than the problematic automatic ones. The engine mounts are standard Jaguar XJ6 mounts. Bespoke exhaust system made by Haywood and Scott of Basildon.
Cooling system
Custom made radiator with Kenlowe electric fan and thermostat.
