1971 Porsche 911E
Up for sale is a 1971 Porsche 911E 2.2 coupe in light yellow with a black interior. The car underwent a full bare shell restoration by the Messeri brothers, Porsche enthusiasts and clubman racers, in sunny southern France, and has since been imported to the UK where it has had one owner. The restoration involved refurbishing or replacing every single piece of the car before being re-installed. The engine received a full rebuild to original specification with the original MFI system, providing 160HP, and is oil tight with excellent oil pressure. The dog leg 901 gearbox was fully rebuilt with slightly shortened ratios for gears 2, 3, and 4, and a shorter throw for the shift. The suspension, brakes, and interior were all renewed/overhauled, including Bilstein dampers, S spec brakes with aluminum front calipers, lightweight Recaro seats, and a roll cage for safety. The car comes with original Fuchs wheels and Pirelli Cinturato tires. It is accompanied by a huge history file and is ready to be enjoyed on the road, track, or classic rally events.
