1972 Bedford CF Ice Cream Van Rare Opportunity
This is a 1972 Bedford CF250 Ice Cream Van restoration project. We have owned the vehicle since 2012 and have lovingly restored it. It has 2 fitted freezers with lots of space – 1 large double and 1 single flip lid, as well as a 240v plug-in, so there is no need to keep the engine running to operate. We have replaced the clutch, starter motor, and welding, and made various electrical improvements and repairs during our ownership. The vehicle has custom hand-made wood paneling along both sides, as well as the original ‘wind up’ chimes and speaker.
The van is currently SORN and a non-runner, having been off the road since Covid lockdown. We have had bespoke curtains and fabrics made for it to complete the vintage look (included in the sale). With 94,909 miles on the clock, the vehicle has been serviced and MOT’d every year, and is currently MOT exempt. It will need to be collected with a suitable vehicle to carry its size and weight, as it cannot be driven on the road at present.
This would make a great little business investment for festivals, shows, weddings, and more.
