Up for sale is our beloved 1973 VW Beetle 1303s with a 1600cc engine. We have owned this classic bug since 2008 and have taken it to a few shows, including long trips to Cornwall without any issues. However, as we now have a camper van, we rarely use it, so we would love to find it a good home.
A couple of years ago, we had the engine tuned by Larry at Retro Customs, and it runs beautifully. It comes with a stainless steel exhaust that gives it a great sound.
The car has been hand-painted and is not perfect, but it’s solid for its age. We have had some welding done to the bottom left pillar and floor, and we still have the original front bumper. The door covers are new and in cream, and we also have the rear ones but haven’t fitted them yet.
The car comes with plenty of paperwork, and we even have some fiberglass wings with headlights that we can include. Additionally, there’s a rear rack, but the slats need repairing.
