Relisted due to a time waster backing out after paying a deposit for us to end the auction, but then not wanting to pay for the car until it’s been delivered. Please note that this car will not be delivered or leave the premises until full payment is cleared.

Up for sale is a 1974 Mini 1000 in Tahiti Blue with a Range Rover Corris Grey roof. This car has had a full bare shell restoration and is in lovely condition, around 98% finished. It has been sitting in dry storage at the back of our workshop for around 8 years now. This is one of our customers’ cars that we restored for them years ago but never quite finished. They have now asked us to sell the car as they are never going to use it. We have dug it out of the corner, washed the dust off for the pictures, and fitted a new battery and fresh fuel. The car starts and drives with no issues. There is very little left to do on this car to finish it, and the following are the things that need to be done that we can see/remember:

No sun visors (possible in the boxes of spares)
No boot carpet
Roof lining needs to be fitted correctly
Window rubber beads need to be fitted (new ones in car)
Air vent missing
Dash trim
Speedo cable needs to be fitted (new one in car)
Steering rack has play (about the only used part that was refitted)
Wiper arms loose
Washer bottle missing
There is a pallet load of used spares that come with the car, including another complete engine.

Now, a bit about the car itself:

All new genuine panels fitted
New subframes front and rear and have been powder-coated
Poly-bushed throughout
New brakes
New wheel bearings
New hoses and lines throughout
Fully adjustable Spax coilovers all round
New wiring loom
Shell was painted inside, outside, and the underside in Tahiti Blue
Clear wax-oiled underside
New radiator
New LCB exhaust system
New carpets
