For sale is a lovely 1975 VW Beetle 1200. It was recently purchased from a local classic air-cooled garage after the last owner passed away. The car had a comprehensive body restoration carried out approximately three years ago and has hardly been used since. All necessary welding was done to a good standard and the car was given a full repaint in its original factory blue color. During the restoration, the previous owner decided to change to the early style sloping headlights and early blade style bumpers, which were brand new. The car has been slightly lowered and sits on brand new stock factory steel wheels with thin white wall tires and chrome baby moon hub caps. The original 1200cc engine runs great and performs correctly. The car has its original factory black basket weave interior, which is in great condition. There is a period-correct radio fitted to the dash, and the carpets are new. New quality replacement running boards have been fitted. This is a superb Beetle for the money, and it could be the ideal first-time VW or classic car for someone or could easily be used as a daily driver. The car will be given a full check-over and detail prior to sale. It is registered as historic, tax, and MOT exempt, but can be supplied with a one-year MOT for peace of mind if preferred.
