The 1978 MGB GT 1798cc in Red is being relisted due to a previous winner of the auction, User ID: sion1sion, who never visited, paid for, or collected the car.

The vehicle has been owned by the seller since 2015 and has been garaged for restoration. However, due to other projects, the restoration has not been completed, and the seller now needs the space.

The car has the typical rust for an MG of its age and requires a lot of attention. Although the car was running in 2020, it currently turns but does not start, possibly due to a fuel pump issue. However, the whole car needs attention before it can be driven.

The car has a box of parts, including all of the chrome trim, but the seller cannot guarantee that all parts are still with the car. The car comes with a V5 document and a nice registration number, and the last MOT was in 2007.

The car has receipts and a folder that demonstrate its previous owner’s love for it. The seller believes that the car deserves to be restored and has set the auction as a no-reserve.

The images of the car are from 2020, and the video of the engine running is also from 2020. The seller has also added recent pictures, including the condition of the cills, castle rails, and floor, which seem to be reasonable.
